The weak paytable drags the whole package down, though. Having three, four or five high symbols pay the same token 0.2x feels wrong, and the heroes themselves have no story or names to latch onto. With a £10 max bet, high variance and very rare top outcomes, I treat Diamond Force as an oddball slot I fire up now and then for its quirky features, not as a regular go-to game.
